Our Prodigal Problem

Luke 15:11-13

As we prepare to observe Holy Week, I bring us to this familiar story of the Prodigal Son. We all like to get a good shout on when the young man comes to himself, or comes to his senses. That after losing everything his father had given him, lowers himself to feeding the pigs, and wanting what the pigs were eating and no one would offer him anything; he remembered that even the servants in his father’s house had all the bread they wanted and leftovers.
